Cad-Capture is pleased to announce that HotSpots, part of our Asset Navigation solution, has now achieved OpenText Cloud certification for containerized deployment.
This certification represents a significant step forward in our cloud journey. Following our earlier OpenText Cloud certification for virtual machines in 2022, this new approval ensures that HotSpots is fully aligned with the shift towards modern, container-based architectures.
Designed to streamline access to engineering information, HotSpots enables users to view and interact with drawings, technical documents and connected asset data directly inside the OpenText CM (Content Management) viewer. With this new certification, organizations operating in the OpenText Cloud can deploy HotSpots more efficiently and benefit from improved scalability, resilience and performance.
“As the AIM Suite already delivers Asset Navigation to users of both Documentum CM and Content Management, I am delighted that this certification now accommodates customers operating with OpenText in the Cloud. This expansion into the cloud means that businesses using the AIM Suite can further benefit from reduced costs, rapid deployment options and high availability.”
Chris Clark, Sales Director, Cad-Capture
OpenText’s certification process includes detailed validation to ensure third-party solutions meet strict technical and operational requirements. We’re proud that HotSpots has passed this assessment and continues to meet the standards expected of trusted SolEx partners.
This development further strengthens Cad-Capture’s long-standing collaboration with OpenText and reflects our continued commitment to delivering cloud-ready, future-proof solutions for organizations managing complex engineering information.
