Finding the right drawings/documents for engineering tasks just got easier with the new HotSpot Work Pack functionality.
Engineers can now find and access engineering drawings/documents required for specific work orders much, much faster! HotSpot Work Packs provide pre-qualified results - showing the relevant files associated with a task or work order, based on previous jobs, saving valuable time and resource.

Create HotSpots for legacy drawings e.g. hand drawn P&IDs, photos, and poor quality PDFs
In our July 2021 HotSpots release we've included the ability to work with hand drawn scans, photos, and general poor quality PDFs. This means you can now add HotSpots to activate asset tags and references on these difficult formats, as well as native AutoCAD files and machine generated PDFs.
This will be especially useful for organisations with poor quality/scanned legacy drawings. No matter the condition of the drawing, all you need to do is add the HotSpot to the asset tag, input the name of asset, select it's category, and you’re done! You now have an active HotSpot linking the asset to all its essential data, documents, and systems.
